The Big Island has carved a special place in our hearts. We are happy to share our labor of love with you. There are really no words to describe this magical compound. The best way to understand it is to experience it for yourself. Waking up to amazing sunrises, the smell of the ocean, the views from the house and cliffside, the sound of the waves, the beauty of the garden, the solitude and peace of the grounds, and the songs from the birds, will all take your breath away and transport you to a different place. We spend many nights stargazing, laughing, and writing Haikus for fun. We love sharing the beauty and love of this magical place with our guests and seeing how they are transformed by it. This house and property is amazing! It is right on the ocean as shown in the pics. At night when you go outside, you can see all the stars and I mean all of them. It has all the amenities you could ever need while on vacation. The hosts are very nice and getting in to the property is very easy. It does get hot there but they provide 2 large fans in case the ocean breeze isn’t blowing. I highly recommend this place if you stay on the Big Island!
Allan & Eve are fantastic hosts; their home on the Hamakua coast is beyond stunning! The views are to die for, the home is beautifully appointed, and the hosts are responsive and easy to communicate with.
I mean ya’ll can see the photos, right. This place is drop-dead gorgeous. Well worth the price. Hosts responded immediately to messages and requests even late at night.
The place was perfect. The Master Bedroom lanai can be described as Serene, beautiful and peaceful. From every room you had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The house is tucked away and very private.
Great house, great location. At least at this time of year the sunrise was right outside the gigantic living room windows overlooking the ocean. Hosts were extremely responsive.
Located on the east coast of The Big Island Hawaii
Our home is located in Hakalau, a small town just outside of Hilo on the North East side of the Big Island. Hilo is known for its warm aloha spirit, relaxed lifestyle, unique shops, art galleries and restaurants with local regional cuisine. We are near Highway 19, only 15 minutes to the town of Hilo, 28 minutes to the Hilo Airport and an approximate 2 hour drive to Kona. This is a great central location to tour and see the inspiring vistas the Island of Hawaii has to offer.
